.) Free Trial Class: Each child is welcome to attend one free trial class. Please email Mrs. Taylor (pyletaylor@yahoo.com) if you are interested in attending a class so we can pick a date that works best for you and also for our program to limit the amount of attendees per class.
.) Tuition, Payment Plans, Misc.: Tuition is $35/month for each class. Upon registration, a $20 yearly registration fee per student is applied. The registration fee covers the class materials/instruments. The monthly payment of $35 will be taken out on the 1st of each month by enrolling in auto-pay through the MyMusicStaff portal. When registering, you will be paying a total of $20 for the registration fee. I will send you another invoice for the full/prorated month tuition (depending on when you register) . Automatic payments of $35 do not begin until the 1st of the following month after you register.
.)Family Materials: Family Materials are a one-time purchase and families only need one set per family per class. These are not required, however, if a family would like to purchase one, Mrs. Taylor can do so upon request. Each set of materials will include both a CD and digital download code to access the music online and then download to your computer or phone. Both digital and hard copy recordings come with additional materials associated with each age level/class (song books, instruments, animal cards, note cards, etc.)
.) Dropping Class/Refunds: If at any point your family decides to stop classes, please email Mrs. Taylor to stop the reaquiring payments. To avoid being charged another month, please notify Taylor of this before the 1st of the month. Family materials cannot be returned/refunded.
.) Attendance Policy: Mrs. Taylor understands that many have familes with more than one child and extended family that may want to attend class. We welcome all and encourage family interest and participation! Siblings who are older (out of the age range of the class) can attend at no cost.
.) Class Size: We need a minimum of 3 families enrolled to make a class a "go" for a session. Please be aware that depending on how many guests attend at any one given class, extra instruments may be limited.
.) Class Guidelines: Please try to be a few minutes early to give your child(ren) a chance to adjust to the setting. We sit on the floor, so wear comfortable clothing and kindly remove your shoes (especially in babies/toddlers class). Please leave food, toys, pacifiers, drinks, etc. at home or in a diaper bag.
Due to the auditory nature of this class, it is vital that adults set the example and refrain from having excessive loud side conversations to allow our little ones to engage with you, myself, the instruments, and music. We understand that babies have many needs. Please do not feel bad or rude by taking your child outside the class space to diaper change, calm down, feed, etc. Children are not meant to be quiet! So do not feel like you and/or your child is a disturbance if your little one is using his/her vocals to express themselves! We are a very welcoming community and want everyone to feel accepted, loved, and appreciated.
.) Weather Policy: In the event that Justice Elite Dance closes due to inclement weather, Mrs. Taylor will give notice as soon as is possible. Every attempt will be made to email, call or text families involved.
.) Holidays: We follow the county school district’s holiday schedule. If there comes a time in which there will be no class for a specific reason/holiday/occasion, familes will be remimded via text, social media, and email.
.) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please realize that all children learn at different rates and in different ways. Some children will be quiet in class, others will be active. Some children will do everything perfectly at home, but not in class. Please do not play the instruments or participate for your child (taking his/her hands and doing it for him/her), but rather, focus on being the example. Your job is to play and have fun with your child, and ensure his/her safety as well as that of other children in the class. As a parent, we know that every child is unique, so leave the comparisons at the door and let the music work its magic! He/she will participate in his/her own time! :-)
